How do I send a file during a call?

To send a file while on a call click the plus icon and select Send files. You can send, receive, or view any type of file over Skype. There are size limits to files, and some types of files may require separate software or an app to view them.

There is a 300 MB file size limit on shared files. If you send a file that is too large you'll get the error "Not sent - File is larger than 300 MB."

Will a file I've shared in Skype be available on my other Skype devices?

Yes. Whatever file type you share on Skype will sync across all your devices. Which means if you share something in Skype on your computer, it will also be available for download on your mobile device, and vice versa.
